Forthcoming exhibition with Superflux. 'The Craftocene' at Weltmuseum, Wien

The start of March 2026 will see the opening of a four room exhibition by artist group Superflux, The Craftocene, for which I am composing a series of sound scores, spatial sound pieces and a film soundtrack.

SUPERFLUX

The Craftocene

3 March to 16 August 2026

The solo exhibition The Craftocene by SUPERFLUX unfolds across three rooms, bringing together three major works for the first time: the multispecies banquet Refuge for Resurgence (2021), ongoing explorations into river intelligence Nobody Told Me Rivers Dream (2025), and a new commission created for Weltmuseum Wien, Relics of Abundance (2026).

About the Exhibition

Displayed alongside artefacts from the museum’s collection, these works reflect five years of studio research into the complex, interconnected challenges of our time, positioning ecological reconciliation as a condition for societal transformation, and technological advance as a potential source of hope.

Through juxtaposition with the studio’s speculative works, visitors are invited to reassess these objects’ stories and the lives of those who crafted them. Time, culture, and geography collapse, creating space for new, object-based spiritual practices and renewed relationships with the more-than-human world.
